Politicians wade into Kathleen Stock transphobia row

Labour's shadow equalities minister Taiwo Owatemi MP has criticised Kathleen Stock's role as a trustee at the LGB Alliance charity.

The University of Sussex's Professor Stock has been called 'transphobic' for her work on gender identity, sparking a campaign by students for her to be sacked. The revelation of her position at LGB Alliance has sparked further controversy.
