Testing the BIG Boring Bar | Shop Made Tools

In this video we are testing our BIGGEST shop made boring bar for the first time! It’s a 125mm x 1100mm long bar made to take a 25mm tool and we want to test it to see how it performs with different inserts, feeds and speeds on the lathe. We are test boring a piece of honed cylinder tube which is not the nicest to machine so will be a good test for what the boring bar can do.
