As the Chinese influence in the indo pacific continues to grow the world is gradually shifting its focus towards the region. India too has been steadily working towards increasing its strength & deterence capabilities in the region.
In a bid to further its naval prowess, India has commissioned its first destroyer under project 15 B. The indigenously built I-N-S Visakha-patnam into the destroyer fleet of the Indian Navy.
