
Instructional Designer vs eLearning Developer

There are a lot of job titles in the instructional design space, and it can be confusing trying to make sense of all of them.
While instructional designers and eLearning developers do have some overlap, they are roles with distinct responsibilities, and one of those roles may be better for you or for the hire you’re trying to add to your team.
Using the ADDIE model of instructional design, we can compare and contrast the tasks and involvement of each role to get a better idea of what each position may be required to do.
In this video, we take a look at the differences between the two roles, the contrast between the job titles themselves, and a few tips regarding how to stand out as an eLearning developer against all the competition out there.
